Alakananda Pramanik is a Bestselling Author, Storyteller, Actor and a multifaceted woman, referred to as ‘Supermom’. Having an experience of over 35 years in various fields, Alakananda is now the Vice President – Strategic Initiative of an eLearning platform ‘Soulitaire’. She is Master Storyteller, lovingly referred to as ‘SUPERMOM’ on the panel of Success Psyphe, inspiring & uplifting people with her stories and a Consultant with the Credit Control team of an IT company, Embee Software Pvt. Ltd.
She is also a Council Member of Women’s India Chamber of Commerce & Industries, West Bengal.

Born in a simple and well-educated family in Nagpur, Maharashtra, she grew up in a very family-oriented environment. Her Father, Mr. Dwijendra Lal Halder, a voracious reader, taught Mechanical Engineering at an Engineering college. Her Mother, Mrs. Rekha Halder was a homemaker and a dynamic lady. Both her parents were very passionate about art, culture, literature and instilled the same passion in her and her sisters. After Graduation in Commerce, she has pursued International Airlines & Travel Management & HR Management from reputed institutes in Mumbai.

She is a twice Amazon Best Selling Author of her solo books ‘SOUL STIRRER’ & ‘THE LITTLE SECRETS TO BIG JOY’, and co-author of 9 books, most of which are best sellers on Amazon too. Her articles have been published in International Symposium on Literature & Festival, International Symposium on Women and Literature and several magazines.

Alakananda is one of the seven ‘Shining Divas 2020’ and her Biography ‘THE JOURNEY – A MEMOIR OF AN EMERGED WOMAN’ is published in the book ‘Shining Divas 2020’ by Literoma and has been featured on the cover story of an International Magazine ‘CULTURE FLASH’.

She has acted in both Hindi and Bengali short films, as well as given her voice for an illustrated short film based on one of the stories from her book ‘Soul Stirrer’.

Alakananda has been recognized in the field of literary and honoured with the ‘Author Achiever 2020’ Award by Literoma and recipient of the ‘Best Actor (Female)’ Award in the Literoma Short Film Contest & Carnival 2020, Kolkata for her role in the Hindi Short film ‘Shakti – The Strength Within’ which won the ‘Best Story’ Award.

Her debut solo book ‘Soul Stirrer’ featured amongst the Top 10 book and was exhibited in the 2021 Book Fair in Kolkata. Her recent solo book ‘The Little Secrets to Big Joy’ ranked #1 on Amazon within a few days of its release in March 2021.

Serving those in need selflessly comes naturally to her as she deeply believes that ‘Divinity resides in all beings’. In her free time, Alakananda loves Painting, Reading and listening to music.
